Why Choose KINNECT Training When Completing Your Drug and Alcohol Testing Course Via Webinar

Drugs & Alcohol 17 Apr 2024

We all want a safe workplace. More and more, companies are recognising that a robust workplace drug and alcohol policy is part of their overall commitment to work safety. National standards require that accredited professionals conduct drug screening. As a result, more training organisations are offering training in this complex and challenging arena.

What is the best way for your staff to receive this training?

For many companies and individuals, the challenges of juggling available times and convenient locations make a blended online delivery (a combination of online theory and Trainer-led session via webinar), the most appropriate option.

Self-paced learning options can vary widely from one training organisation to another. Students report low satisfaction when an online Drug and Alcohol Testing course requires a large time commitment to reading materials, or there is little to no direct support from the trainer.

KINNECT Training offers a different online learning approach.

KINNECT Training takes a different approach. We combine interactive online learning with a live webinar to provide our students with the quickest and easiest way to complete their training in HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs ofdrug or alcohol abuse testing.

What to expect with interactive online training?

Upon enrolment in the drug and alcohol testing training course, students will receive immediate access to the online learning platform, with videos and knowledge challenges that enhance the learning experience. There are videos and clear instructions on how to conduct drug and alcohol screens within the requirements set out by the Standards.

Students complete the online component at their own pace. You can even leave the program, save your work, and return to it as required.

What to expect with webinar training?

Once the online component has been completed, students book their webinar at a time and date that suits them. With up to six time slots available each week, our students report that booking their drug and alcohol screening officer training webinar is easy and convenient.

The webinar is the student’s opportunity to receive direct training from a professional with real work experience in the use of common industry alcohol testing devices and drug testing equipment. A full “tool kit” of these tools is provided to students so they may demonstrate their skills, either to a qualified supervisor in their own workplace, or via video delivery to a KINNECT Training Assessor. Once a student has completed their performance assessments successfully, they will receive their accreditation certificate.

Fast. Clear. Definitive. Three more reasons to choose KINNECT Training.
